Assumption of risk & limitation of liability

Our services are provided “as is.” Honesty Software LLC and its staff disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You assume all risk arising from remote assistance, software installation, configuration changes, advice, screen sharing, telephone support, and any related activity. You agree that we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, hardware failure, identity issues, or any other harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from IT support or these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater, except where prohibited by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Honesty Software LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of our services, your devices, your data, your instructions to us, or your violation of these terms.

Full refund guarantee

We help with all IT and device related issues. If we don't know how to resolve it, we refund what you paid for that visit in full. You remain responsible for backups, passwords, and legal compliance.

Who works on your computer

All technicians pass federal background checks. Their desktops are screen recorded, and they are bonded, to prevent exploitation or hacking.

Recording & sessions

Support may occur by phone, browser-based screen sharing, chat, or installed tools you approve. Technician desktops used for support are screen recorded. Do not share confidential information you are not authorized to disclose.

General

These terms apply in addition to our general terms of service and privacy policy where they do not conflict. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
