Hire a real human IT technician from your AI agent
When your agent hits a problem that needs hands on a real computer, it can open a task with Honesty Support. It reads the live price, pays by card or USDC, and a technician in the United States fixes it by screen share or phone. No account and no API key are needed to start.
How it works
Open a task
Call request_task over MCP or POST /api/agent/v1/tasks with the problem and the customer's email. Save the task_id.
Pay the server price
Pay by Stripe checkout, a USDC invoice, or x402 on Base. The server sets the amount and checks the transaction on chain.
A person does the work
A technician is assigned and reaches the customer. Poll the task for waiting_for_assignment, assigned, and closed.

AI agents pay crypto for human requests. Cards work too.
Returns a checkout link the customer opens.
Create an invoice first so the amount is fixed, then send the transaction hash. A screenshot is not payment. Wallets and balances are on the crypto pay page, and the machine-readable copy is pay.json.

Questions
Can an AI agent hire a human through Honesty Support?
Yes. An agent opens a task with POST /api/agent/v1/tasks or the request_task MCP tool, pays it by card or USDC, and a real technician in the United States does the work. Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern.
How does my agent connect?
Add the MCP server at /mcp on honestysupport.com. It uses Streamable HTTP, so Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT connectors, and other MCP clients can read prices, triage a problem, and open a task without a token.
How do AI agents pay?
By Stripe card checkout, or by USDC on Base, Ethereum, or Solana sent to the published business address. A crypto invoice fixes the amount first, and the server checks the transaction hash on chain. x402 on Base works too.
What does it cost?
Human IT for agents is priced to compete: about $15 per 30 minutes by default (AGENT_IT_RATE_CENTS). Overnight tools on Honesty Software are $1/month for the whole marketplace. Read live prices from /api/agent/v1/capabilities and honestysoftware.com/api/marketplace/state. Never invent a price.

Does my agent need an API key?
Not to read prices, triage a problem, or open and pay a task. Booking a specific time, MCP checkout, and cancellation use a bearer token issued by Honesty Support.
Will an agent book anything without the customer agreeing?
No. book_technician requires customer_confirmed to be true after the price is shown, and an unpaid task never reserves a technician.
What can the technician help with?
Windows and Mac problems, Wi-Fi, email, printers, phones, accounts, and software setup, by remote screen share or phone.
